Slam Dunk Back to School Bash
The Ray Tanner Slam Dunk Back to School Bash is an annual event focused on helping school students get ready for the first day of school. The event, presented in conjunction with the Junior League of Columbia, features select Richland County elementary schools and their students. The event addresses the medical and economic needs as those students prepare for the first day of school. Community partners make it possible to provide backpacks with school specific school supplies, vision exams and dental exams.
We had another great Back to School Bash for Sandel and Pine Grove Elementary Schools August 5th 2017. Every student in both schools will get a new back pack with their school's required school supplies. We are so thankful for all of the community support to help these students have a great start to their school year!!!
